The purpose of traceability with Dtracer is for consumers to have access to information on the origin and distribution of the product or production, from its origin to its final stage.

From Dtracer for each registered product, we generate an NFT in the blockchain network, and we assign a unique identification system for each brand/manufacturer.

This QR code is unique for each product, being impossible to falsify, since it is associated with a new block in the blockchain chain.

There are different states, to differentiate the transport of the product with the authorized sale and the final customer of the brand, all this is possible with the same QR customer code.

At Dtracer we are committed to POS technology and we discard all those technologies that use POW since indirectly by betting on POS technologies we reduce CO2 globally since Miners are not required to constantly work to verify the blocks of the chain.

The main difference between both systems lies in the way of validating the transactions. However, PoW requires a large investment in hardware and software optimization. But also some time to make the investment profitable. Whereas in PoS you don’t need any of that.
